EXCELLENCE OVER TASTE BUDS: 2019 A.A. TASTE AWARDS RECOGNIZES CLEAN LABEL BRANDS

 
 
 

Anti Additive Association (A.A.), the organiser of A.A. Taste Awards, has announced the winners of 2019 A.A. Taste Awards, honouring business that promoted and produced wholesome additive-free food in the world.

The winners are across Asia-Pacific, Europe, North and South America, Africa, and the Middle East. Awarded restaurants include Due Italian from Japan, Rech by Alain Ducasse from Hong Kong, Mountain and Sea House from Taiwan, and many more. Awarded food producers include Kikkoman from Japan, Diamond Grains from Thailand, and Namshow Group from Taiwan, and more.

The evaluation results of submitted products and cuisines concluded as follows – 11 Great Taste Awards items, 129 one-star items, 319 two-stars items, 89 three-stars items, and 141 items anonymously nominated by jury members were commended with Special Jury Awards. The jury panel includes professionals of food and beverage industry, Michelin chefs, nutritionists, academics and food critics. Evaluation criteria include food and dish first impression, aroma, visual, texture, flavour, after-taste, and additive-free level.  

Bentley Namasasu, the Deputy Head of Mission of Malawi Embassy in Japan, commented: “I am greatly honoured to participate in congratulating the 2019 A.A. Taste Awards winners. Good health is very important to everyone, and such, natural food without additives plays a very critical role. Congratulations to the winners’ hard work and their well-deserved achievement.”
